What is emo?

Emo is a somewhat vague slang term most frequently used to describe or refer to a fashion, style, or attitude linked to post-hardcore. Emo may also describe emo music or a general emotional state (as in to "feel emo"). It is also used to identify someone who fits a particular emo stereotype or category or someone who is overly-emotional. The term's definition is the subject of debate.

Music: The term emo was used to describe a subgenre of hardcore punk. The term emo was derived from the fact that, on occasion, members of a band would become spontaneously and strongly emotional during performances.

I just wonder how it feels to be EMO. Most of the pictures related to emo, emo person, emo style, emo music, emo groups etc. involve heart, love related stuffs, broken-hearted feeling or i may say PAIN. Like the pictures above depict how emo acts, or how emo feels. All those things makes me feel the pain!

Is Emo Love? If yes, I want to be Emo then. I don't know what really emo is. Maybe in some ways I become emo without me being notice I become one. Weird huh? This picture depicts how emo becomes love. Each person may have different perspective on how and what really emo is. So, we must respect how they see things like how emo for them becomes love. =)
