What is emo?

Emo is a somewhat vague slang term most frequently used to describe or refer to a fashion, style, or attitude linked to post-hardcore. Emo may also describe emo music or a general emotional state (as in to "feel emo"). It is also used to identify someone who fits a particular emo stereotype or category or someone who is overly-emotional. The term's definition is the subject of debate.

Music: The term emo was used to describe a subgenre of hardcore punk. The term emo was derived from the fact that, on occasion, members of a band would become spontaneously and strongly emotional during performances.

Some of the Best PC Games Ever!

Have you ever tried playing these games? They are worth spending your time! These are some of high rated games in Computer World. Included with the best story lines, high quality graphics and interactive-action pack game play.

Dragon Age: Origins
When was the last time you felt totally lost in a fantasy gameworld? When was the last time you played a game with such a well-crafted and enjoyable story that you knew you’d remember it for a long, long time? Dragon Age: Origins is that kind of game, so rich and involving that you are powerless to resist its wiles and whims, so touching and triumphant that your mind and heart will be moved. In the fictional land of Ferelden, you meet memorable characters and fight for a cause you believe in, and it's this backdrop that makes developer BioWare's newest role-playing game so extraordinary. Dragon Age is more than a well-crafted story, however: It's a lengthy, intricate, and thoroughly entertaining adventure that's easy to fall in love with.

Fallout 3
A lot of games make a big deal out of player choice, but few in recent memory offer so many intricate, meaningful ways of approaching any given situation. You fulfill or dash the spiritual hopes of an idyllic society, side with slavers or their slaves, and decide the fate of more than one city over the course of your postapocalyptic journey through the Washington, DC wasteland. Your actions have far-reaching consequences that affect not just the world around you but also the way you play, and it's this freedom that makes Fallout 3 worth playing--and replaying. It's deep and mesmerizing, and though not as staggeringly broad as the developer's previous games, it's more focused and vividly realized.

Mass Effect
When Mass Effect was originally released last November on the Xbox 360, it unveiled a vast, beautiful galaxy populated by diverse, fascinating alien races. Players stepped onto this stage as Commander Shepard, a hero at the vanguard of humanity's ascension in the arena of galactic politics, and thus began an epic story bolstered by engaging characters and rich, branching dialogue. Exciting combat and robust skill management completed the package, but it was not without flaws. Many small issues have been addressed in the PC release, and the result is a more streamlined, more playable version of one of the best role-playing games in recent memory.

Top 10 Cell Phones of 2009

We are about to end year 2009 and it's been a great year for new cellphones discoveries. There are some great features were embedded and some cool designs. But there are the best among them all. Let's give a glance on the Top 5 cell phones of 2009 by CNET.

1. Apple iPhone 3GS

The iPhone 3GS doesn't make the same grand leap that the iPhone 3G made from the first-generation model, but the latest Apple handset is still a compelling upgrade for some users. The iPhone 3GS is faster and we appreciate the new features and extended battery life, but call quality and 3G reception still need improvement.

2. HTC Droid Eris

The HTC Droid Eris is the second Verizon Wireless' Google Android phone after the Motorola Droid. Where the Droid was flashy and high-end, the Droid Eris offers a simpler, slimmer design that lacks a physical keyboard. You get the same Android features, but it all comes at bargain price.

3. Motorola Droid

The Droid's display is gorgeous, the Android 2.0 updates are excellent, and the handset is lightning fast, particularly for an Android phone. We'll refrain from using the dreaded "iPhone killer" expression, but comparisons between the two devices are obvious, and we see the Droid as a real competitor to Apple's device. Sure, we had some complaints, but for Verizon's first pass at Android, the Droid more than delivers.

4. RIM BlackBerry Bold 9700

While the Web browser needs work, we would absolutely recommend the RIM BlackBerry Bold 9700. It features a sleeker design and more power than its predecessor, making it a powerful messaging smartphone that will appeal to consumers and mobile professionals alike.

5. Samsung Instinct HD

The Instinct HD, aka the SPH-M850, is an upgradeand an improvement to the original Instinct. It offers a sleeker design, a brighter display, and more features. We're a bit ambivalent about the much-hyped "high-definition" support, but it remains a compelling multimedia phone that does a lot of things well. However, its price is a tad galling. At $249 with a two-year Sprint Everything plan and a $100 mail-in rebate, the Instinct HD will cost you more than many smartphones. Sure, the HD camera is nice, but we'd rather pay for real productivity than flashy multimedia.

Best Product of 2009 by PCWorld

Let's have a glance on the best products this 2009, brought to you by PCWorld. Products included are not only hardwares but also softwares.

Here are the best hardware, software, and services of the year, as selected by the PC World Editorial Team.

1. The App Store (iPhone apps, prices vary) What can you say about a store--any store--that moves 2 billion products in just 16 months? We stand in awe of Apple's trailblazing App Store, which this year put the word app on the map, as customers flocked to download iPhone applications by the shopping basketful.

2. Google Voice (telephony service, free) Google Voice gives you a single number for all of your phones to use, e-mails you transcripts of your voicemail messages, and sports a host of sophisticated calling features. Set up conference calls for free, record calls, even switch phones in the middle of a call. And it's all free. Ma Bell, eat your heart out.

3. Intel X25-M Solid State Drive 160GB (internal storage device, $500) A new manufacturing process and a significantly lower price combine with great performance in this top-notch SSD. This model's speedy test results put it at the top of our chart; its price and performance make it a compelling flash upgrade for notebook or desktop users.

4. Nikon D300s (digital camera; $1770, body only) The first enthusiast model to include high-definition video capture, this camera is a joy to handle. Changing focus points on the D300s is extremely easy--and the camera takes excellent photos, too. Video output contained impressively smooth images; and the built-in microphone picked up audio well in a crowded environment.

5. Twitter (social media service, free) We loved Twitter enough last year to include it on our Top 100 list, and it has only grown stronger since. Twitter's uncomplicated API has led to an explosion of cool client apps and media sites that continually expand what it can do, including robust photo and music sharing. It's not just for pithy sentences anymore.

6. Dell Latitude Z600 (laptop, base price $1999) This superslim 16-inch laptop unites fashion-forward design and high-tech extras--with no cords. A 14mm-thick metallic-yet-rubbery case, a touch-inductive panel alongside the screen that lets you summon on-screen shortcuts, and an inductive-charging base station highlight this status symbol for business travelers.

7. Microsoft Bing (search engine, free) What sets Bing apart most strikingly from Microsoft's old Live Search and from the Google and Yahoo alternatives is the way it parses and displays search results. Whereas Google emphasizes a stark, quick-loading design and a list of highly relevant search results, Bing organizes its search results into Search Categories--subdivisions such as Web, Maps, Images, and Health. In a particular search, Bing creates Search Categories dynamically in response to the user's query. Bing also packs some new smarts: it attempts to figure out the searcher's intent rather than relying heavily on matching keywords to Web documents.

8. Canon PowerShot SX200 IS (digital camera, $350) It's pocket-size only if you have really big pockets, but the 12X-optical-zoom SX200 IS justifies its size by delivering astonishing versatility. With full manual controls plus a Smart Auto mode, 720p HD video recording, very good image quality, and that powerful lens, the SX200 IS is a budding photographer's best friend.

9. The Beatles Rock Band by Harmonix (game, $140 with instruments) Well, it probably should be number nine, but this gaming experience isn't just a straight setlist, it's a musical history lesson. As a member of the Fab Four, you start at the Cavern Club, jam at Abbey Road, sing on rooftops and go on trippy video experiences to an Octopus's Garden, rocking out the entire time. Amazingly, I find myself battling my wife--and the in-laws--for control of the mic.

10. Samsung LN46B750U (HDTV, $1670) This 46-inch TV turned in the best performance we've seen yet in our tests for motion handling. Its 240Hz refresh rate certainly helped, and the LN46B750U offers solid Web service connectivity, too. Want a smaller TV? Samsung's 40-inch LN40B650 ($1190) delivered even better overall image quality, and its 120Hz refresh rate put it just behind its 46-inch cousin in performance on our motion tests.

TP vs Fallen!

This was our practice game hosted by my friend. It was not really a "pro" game but we enjoyed it and we gave our best in this game. A match between Team Punishment and Fallen, guilds from Philippine Ragnarok Online. I played Champion - Team Fallen! Anyway I'm just a newbie here!

Emo and Emo

Emo is said to be a culture that emerge from a style of music particularly hardcore punk or emotional hardcore. Some said Emo refers to people that are "emotional". Some said emo is just an expression of oneself. And there are still many definitions of Emo out there. But, despite the fact that emo means different things and vary from person to person, Emo remains a good image of a real and true human person expressing his/her self.

Mom and Popcorn Co.

Did you ever know that this successful people came from a very horrible and tragic experience? They used this experience to pursue a dream. And here they are, very successful business men who tried their best to reach what they want. Tim quit his job to take care of her. They decided life was too short to spend not pursuing your dreams. So about 4 months after she got out of bed, they sold their house and used the money to start the business.
Walking into Mom and Popcorn Company brings back nostalgic memories of yesteryear. This is in part due to their location: in the 150 year old historic downtown McKinney Texas, right next to Posy Lane on Louisiana street. But more so because the store inside is paneled in warm, rich wood paneling, candy and saltwater taffy is heaped open in barrels, and jars of chocolates line the walls.

Behind the counter are rows and rows of gourmet popcorn flavors – buttery, cheese, creamy dill, loaded baked potato, ranch, over 50 flavors in all. Owner Tim Loyd has spent the last three years developing each flavor recipe. Popcorn tins and boxes make a very popular gift for corporate thank-you’s or party favors. Popcorn tins come in just about every university logo or team logo out there.

It’s very inspiring to hear the story of their business and how they become successful. But, regardless of their story they have really a good product and service that you will like. If you are fun of popcorn and candies, then you came to the right place, Mom and Popcorn Co.

Try their popcorn gift tins.
